The Department of Computer Engineering, in association with COMPESA, organized an expert lecture on 17th January 2026 from 11:45 AM to 1:45 PM. The topic of the lecture was “Advanced Data Science Techniques”, delivered by the expert Dr. Rameshwai Lokhande.

The program began with the felicitation of the expert by the Head of the Department, Dr. S. A. Lakade. This was followed by a welcome speech and introduction of the guest by Mrs. P. S. Lambe.

The session was then handed over to Dr. Lokhande, who delivered an insightful and interactive lecture on Advanced Data Science Techniques. During the lecture, he explained key concepts such as data collection, data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, machine learning models, and the real-world applications of data science in industries like healthcare, finance, and artificial intelligence.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. A. D. Ganbawale. All teaching and non-teaching staff of the Computer Engineering Department were present and actively supported the successful conduct of the session.
